Sickle Cell and Young Stroke Survivors and Different Strokes (a national charity) are holding an informal workshop for young stroke survivors and their families (aged 8 to 25) on Saturday 2nd April 2016 from 9:30 to 15:30 hours.

Renowned Neurologist with Sickle interest Prof. Fenella Kirkham and a team of Top Haematology Doctors will be there to answer any questions you have in a very relaxed atmosphere.
This is an informal workshop to maximise Patient engagement and to gather information on your needs in the community that will help you Transition to Adult services.
The information will also help the charities to provide a better service for you and your family.
Please invite any Stroke survivors you may know, it is open to all young Stroke survivors (i.e. Strokes that happened for other reasons than Sickle cell).
