We are looking to start a new club called the ‘Hangout Zone’ for 18 to 25 year olds.
Here events, activities and outings are organised by the group members themselves and with the support of the charity they fundraise in innovative ways to create awareness, fund the activities as well as Volunteer and raise money for the charity.
What do you get?
- SCYSS T shirt
- Birthday voucher
- SCYSS Bag
- And a friend to talk to
Through the club, we reach out to the whole family and are able to access the needs of the whole family to be able to support the child with sickle cell more effectively.
As in any family where there is a child with extra needs, siblings are a support system and it is essential that siblings understand why their sibling might get more attention than them.
Joining the club as well will help them to understand the family dynamic better.
